Ería de Valles – Tradición Apícola was born in 2012 by Mabel Tuñón and Gonzalo Castro, a young and enterprising couple who are in love with Asturias and its nature. They have created a project that currently has around 500 beehives distributed throughout the Asturian geography, produces natural honey in Asturias, a region situated in the North West of Spain. Its great landscape makes it possible to produce honey from sea level to the highest mountains.
Their main objective is to offer the consumer a 100% natural product of excellent quality. They are responsible for the entire process: taking care and maintaining the beehives, getting ready for the honey production, and keeping them in an excellent condition to comply with the health regulations; the honey is collected in a place exclusively prepared for this task, and finally, it is packaged, labeled, and distributed. This process makes the honey have an excellent quality that is commercialized by Ería de Valles. They make sure the quality and the image of the product are kept at the highest standards.
