Apicoltura Mattei di Christian Mattei was founded in 2008. Christian Mattei’s grandparents in the 1950s produced significant quantities of honey. Everything was reborn almost for fun by buying a baby and hives to give vent to what seemed to be a simple hobby, however, fueled by a lot of passion and desire to do and eventually began to grow, created a brand that is appreciated throughout Italy for quality and reliability.

Their products are all-natural, all production activities are carried out with high respect to the environment and the bees. All these allow them to create products of excellent quality.
At the moment, they do not export to America. Their intention in joining the America Food Awards 2021 is to find importers and distributors that allow their Italian products to be known in the US market.
